The upcoming Apex Legends event, Fight Night, is likely to come soon, as its debut trailer video is leaking all over the internet. The battle royale game from EA and Respawn Entertainment are currently in its seventh season and players are used to the usual cadence of new content and gameplay improvements.
Following the release of a new season, which typically comes with several map overhauls and a brand new character to grind or purchase, a few smaller events pop up to keep the game interesting. New to this season is a character called Horizon, a Scottish astronaut that can manipulate gravity and deploy a black hole generator as its ultimate ability.
The ultimate move has a similar effect to the Gravity Star, one of the tactical weapons in Respawn’s past Titanfall games. The arrival of Horizon and the start of Season 7 coincided with the triumphant release of Apex Legends on Steam, which brought in a great number of new players who didn’t want to deal with EA’s Origin client.

As leaked by Apex Legends eSports participant PWS_Corruption on its Twitter page, the trailer video for the upcoming Fight Night event is now available in its full form, albeit in Japanese. Intriguingly, there is also a hidden tweet in Japanese on the official feed of Apex Legends, which is probably a region-locked promotion that regardless confirms the leak.
No matter the language, the graphics are all intact, displaying amazing new looks for all of the heroes of the game. The standouts in the clip are new legendary skins for Revenant, Bangalore, Loba, as well as a Pathfinder outfit for Revenant that gives him the yellow fedora and suit most famously sported by newspaper comics character Dick Tracy.
All these skins will come to the game at the beginning of the event along with a new Town Takedown. These events are character-specific tasks that arrive on the map to provide fans more variety during gameplay as well as a peen into the lore of some of the legends in the game.

In this case, Fight Night will revolve around a friendly robot Pathfinder and a melee-only boxing ring that players will soon be able to use on the newly introduced Olympus map. This is just one in a myriad of Town Takeovers to happen, with past events unveiling new details on Crypto, Wraith, and Octane, among others.
While the Steam release of Apex Legends might have been clouded by one other big launch that was still on the horizon, the game is trying to have long legs in an overcrowded genre even as it nears the start of its third year.
With exciting new characters participating in the world at a new video and the variety of gameplay that genre fans fancy, it is probable that part of Respawn Entertainment will be developing on this battle royale for quite a while.
