With the Nintendo Switch already proving to be a smashing success, people want to know when they'll be able to get their Monster Hunter on. After all, the franchise is a perfect fit for the system.
When asked by Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki, Capcom's Shintaro Kojima did not deny that Capcom is looking into the possibility - but like other releases in Capcom's stable, it's all going to depend on how well it's current incarnations do.
This is obviously quite far from a confirmation, but Capcom would be silly not to - given that Nintendo has reportedly doubled up on its second run of Nintendo Switches from eight to 16 million, the demand is quite obviously there.
Monster Hunter is one of the best-selling franchises on the 3DS, which has sold over 12 million copies on the 3DS alone between Monster Hunter 4, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and Monster Hunter X (Generations).
Capcom's other title on the Switch, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, is due on May 26.
The latest entry in the series, Monster Hunter XX, has only released on the 3DS in Japan so far, with no western release in sight.
