Well, here’s a reason for the Marvel vs. Capcom community to feel even more hopeful about Capcom’s upcoming project. According to an interview by Game.Watch, one of the company’s veteran programmers — Norio Hirose — is officially on board for Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite.
Hirose’s roots traces all the way back to the classic Versus titles like X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Project Justice, and the original Marvel vs. Capcom — all of which paved the way for the legacy fans still enjoy till this day.
As seen in our most recent player interviews, the community’s most dedicated players are greatly looking forward to the next installment. Recent reports covered by media outlets like GameInformer have indicated the game is literally going back to its roots. Unlike Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom, Infinite will focus on 2v2 combat, which Capcom has noted will create a tighter dynamic that encourages more teamwork.
Fans are interested in seeing how everything will come together since the Infinity Stones are also making a return. Hirose is definitely the right candidate for the job and I look forward to hearing more as the game progresses. If you’re able to find a person that can translate the interview, you’ll definitely want to spend some time checking out the Game.Watch article in its entirety.
