We finally have a name for the ex-Cloud 9 Challenger squad. Per ESPN's Jacob Wolf, the investment group led by Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wesley Edens has named their squad FlyQuest.
The team will feature only one esports team upon launch, the League of Legends team that Edens and the group purchased from Cloud9 for $2.5 million in December. The group is also expected to look at various other potential esports investments throughout the year but has yet to settle on any other form of expansion, sources say.
The starting lineup for FlyQuest's NA LCS team, to officially debut on-stage on January 20th, will be a whole roster of familiar names. Hai, Altec, Balls, and Lemonnation will be returning to the stage. Unfortunately, a jungler is not yet known at this time -- though the deadline for all rosters is tonight.
