One of the biggest problems with the Overwatch spectator client was that it was incredibly difficult to tell who was winning an engagement until people started dying, unless you had someone who was extremely on the ball controlling the camera. Blizzard has been getting better about improving the spectator experience as of late, adding fixed and floating camera options - but without health bars, the viewpoint wasn't very useful aside from showing positioning.
Blizzard's finally fixing it - it's just been added to the PTR.
And thank goodness they did - this will make matches far easier to understand for a casual viewer, and will be great for jumping into your friend's game to watch.
What do you think of the improvements? Would you be more likely to watch Overwatch esports as a result, or maybe watch your friends play? Let us know in the comments.
