With ELEAGUE’s Street Fighter V invitational on the horizon, Martin ‘MaRN’ Pham has been picked up by esports team Rise Nation. The organization’s roots originated with the Call of Duty series back in 2014. In time, its focus has expanded to include Overwatch, Madden, and now Street Fighter V.
MaRN’s inclusion brings a wealth of experience that goes all the way back to 2000. He’s been an active competitor in the Street Fighter 4 and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 series. His involvement continues with Street Fighter V’s debut, where he multiple high placements including NorCal Regionals and Thaiger Uppercut in 2016.
For a brief moment in 2013, MaRN was also the owner of a League of Legends NA LCS team, though Team MRN subsequently disbanded following relegations.
Said about his newest sponsorship opportunity in a company press release:

I’ve received many team and sponsor offers in the past year, though none felt like a good fit for me until Rise Nation came along. I have been reluctant to join a team as I have always done everything myself, but with all that’s going on in my life and the extreme growth in the SFV scene, there has never been a better time to get the support a strong organization can provide.” He continued by stating that, “With Kahreem, Rodger and the entire organization’s support, I can focus on my play and becoming the best player I can be. His involvement should offer some interesting encounters. The event will be stacked with strong competition including Infiltration, Smug, Tokido, and Justin Wong. MaRN’s performance has been known to bring hype will participate in ELEAGUE’s upcoming SFV invitational, taking place in Atlanta on March 27-30.
