To be fair to the players: their job is to play well, not charm the camera. Still, as has been captured on Twitter, Overwatch's tournament intros definitely lean toward the side of being hilarious -- if unintentionally so.
It is, of course, not the first time that Overwatch pros have been left looking a little awkward.
It's not their fault, though. It takes actual training and practice not to wilt before a crowd, which is why Riot Games goes out of their way to hook their pros up with professionals to teach them how. Granted, that's not applicable to League of Legends circuits outside of their direct control.
And let us not forget Heroes of Newerth setting the world record for cringes-per-second.
