PVP Live has learned that Rodolfo 'Rotendo' Camarena has officially resigned from his duties as General Manager of Esports for Ultra Arcade. This is reportedly an unrelated incident to the recent removal of Noel Brown.
Camarena joined up with the organization shortly after Denial Esports dropped its fighting game division, where he served as Team Manager. Although he no longer bears the responsibility of overseeing Ultra Arcade's administrative duties, Camarena tells us he isn't cutting all ties completely with the company.
"I am still assisting with TO duties and public relations," Camarena said. Aside from his prior focus on corporate affairs, Camarena periodically engages the scene on the competitive front as well. He's spent a great deal of time getting acclimated with Street Fighter V, using Dhalsim and Nash while balancing his caliber with Glacius in Killer Instinct.
It's unclear what future aspirations Camarena may have, but his passion for seeing his local scene develop is genuine, and he will continue to have their best interests in mind.
