It appears YouTuber and Team Kaliber owner Justin 'KOSDFF' Chandler might be evicted for creating and uploading videos from his home in Georgia.
KOSDFF's neighborhood Home Owner's Association states that running his YouTube channel from home counts as running a business.
The HOA already sent over a Code Enforcement agent to investigate the situation.
While this may look like a one-off scenario, it could potentially set a dangerous precedent for upcoming YouTubers. Even established ones that may not run their channels from a studio or office.
However, KOSDFF's entanglement seems to have started from inane circumstances — a friend's girlfriend parked in front of a neighbor's house.
Sounds like a scene from HBO's Silicon Valley.
UPDATE: Word got out to KOSDFF's county. They are reconsidering the possible fines and eviction; however he'll need to fill out some paperwork to stay.
