Call of Duty Vanguard Announcement Trailer Reveals Its Release Date

The first Call of Duty: Vanguard video has been presented in Warzone after months of quiet. With a story, multiplayer, zombies, and new features to Warzone, the shooter will take place over the numerous battlefields experienced throughout World War II. Despite having just two years to create Call of Duty: Vanguard, Sledgehammer Games and its co-developers managed to provide all of the series’ planned material, presumably without any sacrifice.

Call of Duty: Vanguard surfaced earlier this month, and there were lots of rumblings throughout 2021 that the game will have the same title and a WW2 scenario. Nonetheless, given the short development cycle, many have been interested to see if Sledgehammer can deliver, especially with a setting that many are wary of and that this year’s competitors appear to be avoiding actively. Only time will tell how the complete game comes out, but Sledgehammer fans now have a clearer sense of what to anticipate later this year.

Call of Duty: Vanguard was presented with its debut trailer during a Warzone event, confirming numerous speculations that had been circulating for months. The Call of Duty: Vanguard clip, which is currently available on YouTube, debuted in an explosive Warzone PvE event in which players were tasked with destroying a train running through Verdansk.

Players were rewarded with in-game goods and the official Vanguard video, which revealed that the game will take place throughout all of WWII’s theaters. The game will be released on November 5th for current and last-generation consoles, as well as PC, with a PlayStation-exclusive alpha scheduled for the end of August. Pre-orders will provide access to an open beta in September, as well as exclusive weapons and operators, as well as other in-game goodies.

The remaining few months of 2021 will be jam-packed with shooters like Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042, ensuring that fans of the genre will never be bored. It remains to be seen whether Call of Duty will seem hurried as a result of its reduced production time, but the series will undoubtedly be put to the test with a busy Christmas season ahead.

Halo’s multiplayer will be free-to-play and the full game is on Game Pass, Battlefield 2042 is a large-scale modern military shooter with a mode centered around throwback maps, and Call of Duty: Vanguard will be a new spin on the WWII setting.

Other Activision teams lent a hand to Sledgehammer, including Treyarch, which is reported to be handling the zombies mode, allowing the developer to concentrate on the story and multiplayer. Although the WWII genre is a bit exhausted, Call of Duty: Vanguard may have an interesting enough premise to reel players back into the trenches.
