Call of Duty Vanguard Modes, Maps, and More Confirmed

The playable Alpha test gave Call of Duty: Vanguard fans on PlayStation the opportunity to sample the game for the first time. The next step for Call of Duty: Vanguard is a playable beta, which will be held this month in many locations. Sledgehammer Games has now given additional details about what Call of Duty fans can anticipate from the Vanguard beta, including the maps and game styles that will be accessible.

Champion Hill, Hotel Royal, Gavutu, Red Star, and, in week two of the test, Eagle’s Nest will be among the five Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer maps available in the beta. The new Champion Hill mode will be the main emphasis during the beta tests, but there will also be other options to try out. Champion Hill, Domination, Team Deathmatch, and Kill Confirmed will be available throughout the first weekend of the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta, with Patrol entering the list on Saturday of Weekend 1. Search and Destroy will be added to the mix for Weekend 2.

Two ARs, two LMGs, two snipers, two shotguns, and two pistols will be available in Champion Hill mode. Beta testers for Call of Duty: Vanguard will be able to unlock 10 attachments for each weapon. Meanwhile, players can upgrade the various weapons up to level 30 in the normal multiplayer games. Players will be able to try out unique loadout slots, with 12 accessible on the PlayStation 4 and 10 on the PC and Xbox One.

Sledgehammer Games has also announced Combat Pacing, a new feature that will be tested during the Vanguard beta. Players in Call of Duty: Vanguard will be put in battles that match the type of experience they’re looking for, thanks to Combat Pacing. Tactical, which is the original Call of Duty multiplayer experience with 6v6 battles, and Assault, which includes 20 to 28 player matches, are the three distinct Combat Pacing choices.

Finally, Blitz, which is centered on “high-action lobbies,” is the final choice for Combat Pacing. Blitz matches, like Assault, will include a greater player count, with matches ranging from 28 to 48 players.

Call of Duty: Vanguard gamers will have six Operators to pick from when the test launches. Operators in Call of Duty are basically multiplayer playable characters, each with their own Finisher. The Call of Duty: Vanguard Operators are Daniel Takeyatsu, Roland Zeimet, Lucas Riggs, Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson, and Arthur Kingsley, according to Sledgehammer Games.

If you’ve pre-ordered the game, you’ll be able to play the Call of Duty: Vanguard beta on PlayStation from September 10 to 13. Then, from September 16 to September 20, there will be an open beta for PlayStation users. If you pre-ordered, you might play from September 16 to September 20, but if you don’t, you’ll only be able to play from September 18 to September 20.
