Cosmo Introduced In New Guardians of the Galaxy New Trailer

Cosmo and his puppies are the focus of a new teaser for the upcoming Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game. The cinematic video showcases some of the quick-wit and comedy fans of the heroes will get to enjoy when Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy debuts later this month, as well as providing a new look at some of the game’s loveliest characters.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a brand-new Guardians experience in which players control Star-Lord in a third-person single-player action-adventure. While Star-Lord will be the sole playable character in the game, players will be able to engage with Gamora closely, Drax, Rocket, and Groot through influencing their relationships with each character and strengthening their kinship with the Guardians through the game’s narrative decision-making.

In addition, as seen in previous Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy teasers, players will be able to employ all of their companions’ abilities and powers in combat and when exploring by calling on them for assistance.

The new Cosmo-focused Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy teaser, which comes directly from developer Eidos-Montréal, shows a little more about Cosmo’s character. In the video, Cosmo displays his no-nonsense demeanor while chasing his tail and playing with a ball, displaying some of the game’s amusing language. Cosmo’s beautiful puppies also make an appearance as they run wild around the area. The developer teases in the video description:

The latest Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy reveal video not only provides fans an excellent glimpse at Cosmo and his puppies, but it also gives another peek at the game’s decision-making. Players will be able to select alternative conversation options based on how they feel about a scenario, making the experience feel more personal. Those expecting a complex and significant option tree will be disappointed since the developer has already confirmed the game will not feature many endings.

Despite some controversy, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience for Marvel fans. While some are unhappy that they can only play as Star-Lord, others are frustrated by the lack of substantial options. Despite this, the game’s positioning as a single-player adventure free of microtransactions has already won over a large number of fans, thanks in part to criticism over multiplayer and paid skins in Crystal Dynamics’ Marvel’s Avengers. Early Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy impressions indicate that the game may succeed, but gameplay problems may be an issue.
