After numerous delays, Cyberpunk 2077 will finally be released to the video game world within less than a month. CD Projekt Red has revealed a lot of details about the game already, leading up to it going gold, so fans have pretty much witnessed the RPG title’s journey and progress.
That being said, Cyberpunk 2077 is an expansive open-world game, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the developer still has a couple of secrets and surprises up its sleeves given the amount of detail that was put into it.
If the rumors that have been circulating are true, then one of these surprises might have to do with popular streamer Dr Disrespect.
If you’re unfamiliar, Dr Disrespect is a streamer that has frequently been the center of attention after his controversial ban from the streaming platform Twitch. As such, he decided to take his content somewhere else, specifically YouTube.
Lately, Dr Disrespect has also been noted for tweeting his reactions to many of Cyberpunk 2077’s announcements and reveals. Although this may seem like a normal thing to do if you’re a fan who’s looking forward to the game, one of his recent tweets may indicate that there’s more to this than we initially thought.
Here’s the deal: Cyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter account posted that the game’s release was only a month away last October 19. Dr Disrespect then quote-retweeted the post with a hint saying that they have something planned relating to the title.
His tweet says: “Just wait until you see what we have planned. Next level.”

That being said, the tweet is vague enough that it could literally mean anything. However, this tweet caught the fans’ eyes, and now they’re wondering if somehow, Dr Disrespect has collaborated with CD Projekt Red.
After all, Hi-Rez Studios’ Rogue Company partnered with the Doc quite recently, which led to the hero shooter adding a Dr Disrespect-themed skin and map. As such, we can imagine the streamer collaborating with CD Projekt Red in the same way for Cyberpunk 2077. If so, this would definitely be “next level.”
For now, the meaning of his tweet or what this possible partnership could mean is still up in the air. One possibility is that the developer could add a Dr Disrespect skin to Cyberpunk 2077 just like what Hi-Rez Studios did, or perhaps the studio will add an NPC of him in Night City.
In any case, the addition of Dr Disrespect to Cyberpunk 2077 will definitely be a huge plus, in fact, it will be on par with Keanu Reeves’ inclusion as the character Johnny Silverhand. That said, fans don’t have to wait too long to find out what the streamer’s tweet is all about since Cyberpunk 2077’s release date is almost upon us.
Even if Dr Disrespect won’t be in the game as we suspected, his supporters still have a lot to look forward to. For one thing, he will be releasing a memoir by next year, and it will contain information about how he was able to find success in his streaming.
