Fans and foodies are loving these new doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. Recently, the popular doughnut chain has partnered with no other than… Pokémon!

Krispy Kreme x Pokémon

A few weeks ago, Krispy Kreme announced its new deal with The Pokémon Company. This partnership is producing Pokémon-themed doughnuts that, for sure, you haven’t had yet, even if you are an avid doughnut fanatic.

The collaboration features the tasty Krispy Kreme doughnuts shaped like your favorite “Pokémon” characters.

Six classic Pokémons were chosen, including Pikachu (of course), Ditto, Jigglypuff, Psyduck, and Diglett.

As for the flavors, the Diglett doughnut is dark chocolate, the Jigglypuff doughnut is strawberry cream-filled, and the Ditto doughnut has strawberry milk cream topping.

Meanwhile, for the Pikachu and Psyduck doughnuts, one is lemon-themed, and the other tastes like “cream of the corn.”

According to FOODBEAST, the treats are available in half-dozen and dozen offerings.

A YouTube Short shared by @nightapplekpop showed the selling of these brand-new Krispy Kreme doughnuts in action.

Fans are loving it

Those who haven’t tried the doughnuts yet expressed their excitement. Those who have, they love them.

Facebook netizen Cetta Brown said, “I would actually buy [these. I] don’t eat [Krispy Kreme] doughnuts, [but] these are cute.”

“I’ll rescue you Jigglypuff! (emoji),” posted @Galaxt1ka on X.

Meanwhile, @_Drunken_Jedi_ said, “Oh wow they’re cute. I’ll take five boxes lol (emoji) I love donuts too much.”

“Psyduck was mid, Pikachu was good! Can’t wait to try the rest,” @anowbowser commented on Instagram.

However, several fans expressed their disappointment as the collaboration is currently only available in South Korea.

“Why is it South Korea [only?] Why not the [US?!] Boooo. Make Snorlax donuts in the [US] again,” Kan Yin posted on Facebook.

@BarbieBadBoy also felt terrible about it. They posted on X, “This is why I need to move to Japan or the surrounding Asian countries. I’m not meant for this life of boring American donuts. (emoji).”

This is not the first time Krispy Kreme and Pokémon have joined forces. In 2021, the paid united to feature designs of Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and guess what? Even a Poké Ball.

Krispy Kreme is one of the world’s biggest doughnut chains, founded in 1937. It presently operates in more than 30 countries.
