Let’s start by updating you on what’s happening in the thrilling world of the NBA. While it is off-season for the world’s favorite basketball event, as the NBA’s regular season runs from October to April, an NBA Cup is being held right now, sponsored by Emirates.
Die-hard NBA fans would always want to experience basketball now and then. But, not all the time they can go out of their homes and play on the court. Fortunately, you can play an NBA game right on your couch with the “NBA 2K” series.
The latest “NBA 2K” series right now is “NBA 2K25,” which promises to offer impressive features, such as the technology that directly translates actual NBA footage into crisp, engaging gameplay; competitive streetball play; building your dynasty; and playing the WNBA, the female version of the NBA.
Furthermore, “NBA 2K25” will also have four incredible editions, each with its own personality and style, available now for pre-order: the Standard Edition, WNBA Edition, All-Star Edition, and Hall of Fame Edition. Let’s look at those editions, their features, and how much they are.
‘NBA 2K25’ Standard Edition
This edition is plain and simple. Play the game without the add-ons, but still never lacking. You’ll see Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum on the cover. It will be available in physical and digital versions at $69.99 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It is $59.99 for the Nintendo Switch.
‘NBA 2K25’ WNBA Edition
Though men dominate the NBA world, it’s also a women’s game. Experience the WNBA in this edition, featuring A’ja Wilson, the Las Vegas Aces forward, as the cover ambassadress. However, this is a physical-only copy available only at GameStop in North America.
You can get it for $69.99. But for now, this price is only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
‘NBA 2K25’ All-Star Edition
Third is the All-Star Edition, which features Tatum and Wilson on the cover. This marks the first time a league cover features both male and female basketball superstars.
It sells for $99.99 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStations 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
But wait, there’s more. Enjoy bonuses, such as 100,000 VC, three Diamond Shoe Cards, three Takeover Boosts, the Amethyst Coach Card, 150x Skill Boosts (25 Games) for MyCareer, and more.
‘NBA 2K25’ Hall Of Fame Edition
Then, you have the Hall of Fame Edition featuring not Tatum on the cover but none other than NBA legend Vince Carter.
You get everything in the All-Star Edition, plus a sought-after MyCareer Vince Carter jersey, a Season 1 Pro Pass with four upfront Pro Pass perks, and a one-year NBA League Pass subscription. You’ll love the League Pass subscription, for sure.
It is $149.99 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
However, it is only available digitally two days after the release of the main game.
Pre-orders for “NBA 2K25” have started in July. The game is launching this September.
