A special limited-edition Forza Horizon 5 Xbox controller has been unveiled in honor of the forthcoming video game. The controller is one of the brightest official Xbox Series X/S controllers yet, and it may be a must-have for Forza Horizon enthusiasts due to unique in-game stuff that can only be obtained by purchasing the controller.
Forza Horizon 5 is expected to be the series’ most vast and diversified game ever. While Forza Horizon 4 brought players to the United Kingdom in 2018, the next game will be situated in Mexico. The game’s creator, Playground Games, has utilized cutting-edge technology to reproduce Mexico’s diverse landscapes in stunning detail, with distinct biomes containing everything from lush jungles to mountain peaks.
On Xbox Series X/S, the game promises to offer a true next-gen experience, including 4K Ultra HD and 60 frames per second on Series X. The game will still be accessible on Xbox One, despite its goal of utilizing the full capabilities of new-gen platforms. Forza Horizon 5 will include a map that is 50% larger than that of Forza Horizon 4.

The limited-edition Forza Horizon 5 controller was announced during the Xbox Gamescom 2021 event and had a bright yellow translucent shell with pink and blue bursts of color. With a “textured trigger grip, and unique bottom and side dimple grip patterns inspired by perforated type racing car steering wheels,” the controller is inspired by the racetrack.
Purchasers of the Forza-inspired controller will receive three special in-game items: a Forza edition vehicle, a cosmetic item, and a victory emote. More information about the DLC is likely to be released in the near future.
The limited-edition controller has designs and colors that aren’t accessible through Xbox’s custom controller creation tool, Design Lab. The left thumbstick, as well as the View and Menu buttons, are all bright blue, whilst the right thumbstick and ABXY buttons are pink.
The rear of the controller is equally as bright as the front, with pink and blue triggers and white backing, as shown in the trailer. The faint Forza Horizon logo is just to the left of the D-pad, under the left thumbstick.
Forza Horizon fans who want to get their hands on the forthcoming controller may do so now on the Microsoft Store. The controller will cost $74.99 and will be released shortly after Forza Horizon 5, with a November 9 release date scheduled. The game will be released on November 5th, and it will be available on Xbox Game Pass from the start.
