When Grand Theft Auto Online launches on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, Rockstar Games has announced that it will have exclusive current-gen vehicle upgrades. The open-world online crime game first launched in 2013 alongside its single-player sibling, Grand Theft Auto V. Since then, Rockstar Games has continued to support GTA Online through in-game events and updates.
Despite the fact that it was released over eight years ago, Rockstar Games continues to update GTA Online on a regular basis. The Los Santos Tuners expansion, which was just announced, will bring street racing and a new social hub to the game’s existing enormous open-world multiplayer environment.
The update, which will be released on July 20, will concentrate almost completely on the automobiles that GTA gamers like stealing and racing around city streets. The LS Car Meet will serve as a new social hub for gamers to get together and appreciate one other’s in-game vehicles.
Los Santos Tuners will also contain a variety of new highly customizable cars, with players able to modify vehicles with friends before taking them for a spin on a new test track. New street races will complete the car-themed makeover. The Los Santos Tuners upgrade follows a May update that included new stunt races, enabling gamers to put their driving abilities to the ultimate test.
According to developer Rockstar Games, GTA Online will include special car improvements for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S editions. Select cars will receive additional speed enhancements, as well as other changes, allowing them to tear through the streets of Los Santos even quicker.
The current-gen consoles’ quicker loading speeds, presumably, allow for faster vehicles since surroundings can be loaded considerably faster than on earlier systems. GTA Online will be released in November 2021 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

GTA Online has been a huge success for Rockstar Games, but the online game can’t endure indefinitely. GTA Online’s PS3 and Xbox 360 servers will shut down in December 2021, after the original version of the game, which was published on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, stopped being updated some years ago.
Even though these previous versions of the game are rather obsolete at this time, many players are nonetheless disappointed to see the game’s original incarnation go. The single-player component of GTAV will still be available to PS3 and Xbox 360 owners.
