Gamers and fans couldn’t help but profess their love for “Bloodborne” from the time it launched in 2015. But, some of these gamers are saddened by the fact that “Bloodborne” is only playable thus far on PlayStation 4, not on PCs.

However, some say that you can actually play “Bloodborne” on PC! Well, let’s find out.

Rumors About ‘Bloodborne’ On PC Turned Down

So many games are playable on both PlayStation and PC, so why can’t “Bloodborne” be one of them?

“Bloodborne” was originally released as a stand-alone souls game allowing players to explore the in-game world of Yharnam.

“Hunt your nightmares as you search for answers in the ancient city of Yharnam, now cursed with a strange endemic illness spreading through the streets like wildfire,” said the game’s official website. “Danger, death, and madness lurk around every corner of this dark and horrific world, and you must discover its darkest secrets in order to survive.”

With this excitement, many wish that the game is on PCs, too –  to the point where there is a dedicated X account anticipating this major breakthrough.

Though it is far from happening, as far as official information is concerned, an insider also took to X to post an image of the game’s Wiki page, stating that there were screenshots showing it was running on a completed PC port on Windows.

These people claimed that the screenshots came from a certain Marcos Domenech, who they said is an environment artist working from FromSoftware, the company behind “Bloodborne.”

However, a notable insider and journalist named Jeff Grub cleared all these rumors, debunking them and saying that FromSoftware was “too busy with ‘Elden Ring’” and did not have the time to work on other titles, such as making “Bloodborne” playable on PC, or even making the PC port rumor come true.

But who is Jeff Grub in the first place, right? Is he credible enough to represent the naysayers?

Also, those who wish to play “Bloodborne” on PC should not lose hope. PVP Live researched and found some information about how playing the game on a PC could be possible. Keep on reading.

How To Play ‘Bloodborne’ On PC

There are two possible ways to play “Bloodborne” on PC.

First Method: Via PlayStation Plus

PlayStation Plus is the console’s monthly subscription service that allows gamers online and multiplayer play for games on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Follow these steps to play “Bloodborne” on PC via PlayStation Plus.

  • First, avail yourself of a PlayStation Plus Premium membership. You can purchase this from the official store of Sony.
  • Second, download the PlayStation Plus app on your PC.
  • Third, open the app and log into your PlayStation account.
  • Fourth, connect your PlayStation 4 controller to your PC via a USB cable or Bluetooth.
  • Fifth, search for “Bloodborne” in the app library.
  • Lastly, press stream, and you are done.

Second Method: Via A PlayStation 4 Emulator

The second method is doing it via a PlayStation 4 emulator. But remember, since there are no legitimate PlayStation 4 emulators available yet, you must approach an emulator you find with caution, as an unauthorized emulator may carry security and legal risks.

But you can use an emulator, of course. Only keep in mind that to avoid the game crashing and slowing down, you must have a very powerful PC to handle the emulator well. Also, you should have a compatible copy of the game with you.

What are you waiting for? Go ahead and try those methods. Feel free to share this story online whether you find those methods working or not.
