Shiba Inu has seen an increase in the number of use cases in the payment system. The meme coin has already established itself as one of the top altcoins of choice for retailers wishing to accept cryptocurrency payments on their platform. This is due to the digital asset’s minimal transaction fees and its tremendously broad user base, which brings both usefulness and new clients to the firm.
Flexa, a pure digital payments service, is the most recent to integrate Shiba Int payments into its ecosystem. Flexa has been on a roll with accepting new cryptocurrency payments, and Shiba Inu was recently added to the list. Flexa stated last week on Twitter that it would be accepting LUNA and TerraUSD, both of which are part of the Terra ecosystem, as payment methods for its users.

Flexa’s Twitter account just announced the inclusion of Shiba Inu to the company’s lineup. Flexa’s followers were informed that they may now make payments using Shiba Inu. According to the digital payments company, the meme currency would enable customers with immediate and fraud-proof payments that they could utilize across over 40,000 stores in the United States alone.

In addition, Flexa announced that users would receive a huge 20 percent discount when they used SHIB to pay for Regal Cinemas tickets and food. Regal recently announced that it would accept bitcoin payments, following in the footsteps of its major competitor AMC Theaters.
Customers were also advised to download the SPEDN app in order to make Shiba Inu payments quickly and easily.
Shiba Inu first appeared in the crypto arena with no utility to speak of. The meme coin was, well, a meme currency. Funny memes based on the Dogecoin and Shiba Inu meme trends catapulted the digital currency into the spotlight. However, as the coin and its user base grew, it became necessary to have use cases in order to keep the asset alive.

SHIB, like its predecessor Dogecoin, was warmly received by the payments sector. It enabled inexpensive and easy transactions, particularly for small purchases, and Shiba Inu followers rushed to any site that accepted the meme coin as payment.
SHIB is currently accepted by millions of merchants worldwide. Travala, a trip booking site, said last week that it would begin taking Shiba Inu as a form of payment. Travelers can now book hotel rooms in over two million residences around the world and pay for their flights in SHIB, thanks to the integration.
