The world of eCommerce is in a celebratory mode right now, as Lazada, one of Southeast Asia’s leading online shopping websites, is celebrating its birthday, or the day of its founding. To commemorate this occasion, Lazada is conducting its biggest sale for March across its markets in Southeast Asia. 

Dubbed the 3.3 Lazada sale or the “Epic Birthday Sale,” the shopping extravaganza started last March 3rd and will run for 11 days until March 13th. 

Shoppers are being treated with the biggest discounts, deals, perks, and free shipping for various products across Lazada’s catalog, which includes electronics, appliances, health and beauty products, products for babies and kids, groceries and pets, household products, fashion items, sports product, and automotive products. 

“Online shopping has never been more fun and exciting because of Lazada. And now that the platform is turning 11, expect continuous strong service and assortment of products coming from Lazada for more years to come. This March 3 – 13, reward yourself with eleven-days’ worth of the largest selection of top brands and best products at the lowest prices,” Lazada said in its official statement

Not only are shoppers being treated with perks, but also with entertainment, as Lazada also held launch events, called the “Lazada Birthday Supershow,” across its markets in Southeast Asia. Celebrities from each of the countries where Lazada is present graced the events. 

“Every year, Lazada’s birthday is always the most anticipated moment by our consumers in Indonesia,” said Lazada Indonesia’s vice president for marketing and branding, Irene Inonu, in the FIN.CO.ID report. “Lazada’s 11th anniversary celebration is intended to accommodate the enthusiasm of Indonesian consumers who always want a series of innovations and exciting entertainment from Lazada.”

Meanwhile, Lazada Malaysia’s CEO Alan Chan said in the Malay Mail report that the “Epic Birthday Sale” is an amazing opportunity for LazMall brand partners; local entrepreneurs; and micro, small, and medium enterprises of MSMEs to maximize their sales and expand their reach to millions of customers in the country. LazMall pertains to a Lazada seller of authentic products from both international and local brands, as well as authorized distributors.
