Isn’t it boring if you just farm all day without a sweetheart? As they say, no honey, no money, and no money, lonely.

In “Stardew Valley,” it isn’t just about farming but also finding relationships. Here are the best romances in the game, with the bachelor and bachelorette’s likes and dislikes. You’ll also learn about who the worst are. Let’s get to it.

Best Romances

1. Leah

Likes: Carp Surprise, Cookie, Goat Cheese, Hashbrowns, Ice Cream, Pancakes, Pink Cake, Pizza, Poppyseed Muffin, Rice Pudding, Salad, Stir Fry, Truffle, Vegetable Medley, Wine, and more

Dislikes: Bread, Hashbrowns, Pancakes, Pizza, Void Eggs

Leah is your quirky artisan. She is effortlessly charming and easy to woo with her vast array of things she likes. Having a free-spirited attitude, she perfectly fits into the tranquil life of a farmer.

2. Abigail

Likes: Amethyst, Banana Pudding, Blackberry Cobbler, Chocolate Cake, Pufferfish, Pumpkins, and Spicy Eel

Dislikes: Clay and Holly

Aside from also being free-spirited, she also loves adventure, and quite oddly, she is passionate about the occult. Her heart events are some of the best in the game.

3. Emily

Likes: Amethyst, Aquamarine, Cloth, Emeralds, Jade, Rubies, Survival Burger, Topaz, and Wool

Dislikes: Fish Taco, Holly, Maki Roll, Salmon Dinner, and Sashimi

Even though she is odd, which may turn off others, she has quite a talent, tending injured birds, organizing fashion shows, and engaging in entrancing dances.

4. Maru

Likes: Battery Packs, Cauliflower, Cheese Cauliflower, Diamonds, Gold Bars, Iridium Bars, Radioactive Bars, Miner’s Treat, Pepper Poppers, Rhubarb Pie, and Strawberries

Dislikes: Holly, Honey, Pickles, Snow Yam, and Truffle

Maru is a charming person’s name. She is brilliant and scientific, and has a passion for tech and exotic gifts. After marrying her, she continues to bring happiness to you and your farm.

5. Harvey

Likes: Coffee, Super Meal, Pickles, Truffle Oil, and Wine

Dislikes: Coral, Nautilus Shell, Rainbow Shell, Salmonberry, and Spice Berry

The first guy on this list. First-timers in “Stardew Valley” will get attracted to this bespectacled and mustached Harvey, not to mention his hipster hairstyle. His awkwardness is so interesting you’ll want more. He has a great heart. He is a doctor who works at a clinic to care for the sick.

6. Shane

Likes: Beer, Hot Peppers, Pepper Poppers, and Pizza

Dislikes: Pickles and Quartz

You can have Shane by your side if you have a big heart and a lot of patience. He struggles with depression and alcoholism, but still one of the best romances in the game.

Worst Romances

If you’re willing to take a risk.

1. Sebastian

Likes: Flounder, Frozen Tear, Obsidian, Pumpkin Soup, Quartz, Sashimi, Void Egg, and more

Dislikes: Clay, Complete Breakfast, Farmer’s Lunch, Omelet, and more

Sebastian may be your cool motorcycle bad boy, but how he turns out to be moody at times is a major turnoff.

2. Elliott

Likes: Crab Cakes, Duck Feathers, Lobsters, Pomegranates, Squid Ink, and Tom Kha Soup

Dislikes: Amaranth, Quartz, Salmonberry, and Sea Cucumber

It’s funny that the most attractive people in “Stardew Valley” are also the least likable, such as Elliott. This long-haired guy may be eloquent as he is a romantic novelist, but his overly sensitive nature and being picky with gifts will shove you away.

3. Sam

Likes: Cactus Fruit, Maple Bars, and Pizza Tigerseye

Dislikes: Coal, Copper Bar, Duck Mayonnaise, Gold Bar, Gold Ore, Iridium Bar, Iridium Ore, Iron Bar, Mayonnaise, Pickles, Refined Quartz, and more

Sam’s hairstyle will remind you of the characters from “Dragon Ball.” Like seriously! This airheaded music lover may be easy to befriend, but he doesn’t know how to cook, turning off those who are already wife material.

4. Alex

Likes: Complete Breakfast, Salmon Dinner, and Egg

Dislikes: Holly, Quartz, and more

Alex is misunderstood, misogynistic, and will talk behind people’s backs. You won’t want him.

5. Penny

Likes: Diamonds, Emeralds, Melons, Poppies, Poppyseed Muffins, Red Plate, Roots Platter, Sandfish, and Tom Kha Soup

Dislikes: Beer, Grape, Holly, Hops, Mead, Pale Ale, Pina Colada, Rabbit’s Foot, Wine, and more

Though Penny’s sweet demeanor is noteworthy, she is a high-maintenance girlfriend as it is challenging to acquire the gifts she likes. For instance, she fancies Diamonds.

6. Haley

Likes: Coconuts, Fruit Salad, Pink Cake, and Sunflowers

Dislikes: Clay, Wild Horseradish, Prismatic Shard, and more

Sure, she’s attractive, but not at all times that looks will prevail. Play “Stardew Valley” to see for yourself.

“Stardew Valley” is a farm life simulation game that will have you play as the character who inherits their deceased grandpa’s farm in the titular place. This open-ended game lets you grow crops, raise livestock, cook, fish, mine, forage, socialize, and even marry and have children. That said, you should really take time to choose your lover wisely.

Love is in the air, love is in the farm! Go on a romantic adventure in “Stardew Valley”!
