Pokémon GO is adding a new incentive system that will reward players with extra in-game prizes if they invite friends to play the game. Players will explore their real-world environments in order to search, fight, and capture Pokémon in this virtual reality smartphone game, which was released in 2016. When it first came out, Pokémon GO was a huge hit, thanks to its focus on physical fitness and wellbeing, but it was criticized for having technological problems and leading to traffic accidents.
Despite the fact that it was released almost five years ago, the creators of Pokémon GO continue to give post-launch support. The second season of Pokémon GO, called Season of Legends, began on March 1, brought a slew of new features to the series.
The appropriately called season focuses on legendary Pokémon, and as a result, Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus from the fifth generation of the franchise were introduced. Mega raids and Pokémon hatching were also added, among other notable features. In celebration of the game’s five-year anniversary, support for Pokémon GO, including shadowy legendary Pokémon and community events, is set to continue throughout the year.

Pokémon GO has just introduced a new referral scheme that will allow players to exchange exclusive in-game prizes with others by referring them to the game. This event can be used to invite a friend to play Pokémon GO for the first time or to actually return to the game after being away for a long time.
Rare Candy and rare Pokémon experiences are among the rewards for referring a friend, which can be exchanged by the two players. The referral procedure will be carried out with the help of special codes that will be issued to Pokémon GO players, starting with a small group of Australian players.
Over the past five years, Pokémon GO has become a big success, and the virtual reality app shows no signs of slowing down. Niantic also teamed up with Microsoft to make Pokémon GO compliant with Microsoft’s HoloLens augmented reality headset, taking the game’s immersion to new heights.

The new VR Pokémon GO appeared in a Microsoft demonstration, and although it is still in the early stages of progress, it does foreshadow a truly realistic Pokémon experience in the future. In addition to augmented reality, Pokémon GO will also have a tie-in with the Pokémon Trading Card Series, with Professor Willow getting his own trading card.
Pokémon GO is advertised as a way for players to play Pokémon while still having some exercise and enjoying nature. The quest for wild Pokémon, like any other activity, is best enjoyed with a friend, and the game’s new referral feature will now reward community activity. Although the referral scheme is almost certainly intended to increase Pokémon GO player numbers, the opportunity to socially link players is immensely useful.
