Pokemon Go Introduces Shiny Bidoof and Shiny Regigigas

ARG on the go Shiny Regigigas and Shiny Bidoof will introduce Shiny Regigigas and Shiny Bidoof, respectively, in Pokémon GO’s forthcoming 2021 Solstice Bidoff Breakout events. Many of the specifics for Pokémon GO’s June events were revealed at the start of the month, with the majority of them concentrating on specific Pokémon and items that players would encounter and win more for a limited time, but the studio kept some of the specifics under wraps until later.

From June through August, Pokémon GO’s new Season of Discovery will offer activities for users to enjoy the game’s most recent three-month in-game season. Players could capture Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in raids during the first two weeks of the new season, while the A Very Slow Discovery event featured Gen 1 Pokémon Slowpoke and enabled players to earn Slowpoke-related avatar items and more.

The Shiny versions of Regigigas and Bidoof will be available for users to capture during the last two weeks of June, according to Niantic’s official Pokémon GO blog. Regigigas and its Shiny version will appear in five-star raids from June 17 to July 1 as part of the game’s returning solstice event.

Bidoof and Shiny Bidoof, on the other hand, will be accessible later this month during the Bidoof Breakout event, which runs from June 25 to July 1. Once a player completes event-exclusive Field Research, the popular Bidoof will appear more frequently in the wild, raids, and encounters during this meme-tier event.

Players will be able to capture and engage in extra Pokémon and activities during each of the two events. Pokemon, including Lunatone, Solrock, Spheal, and Snorlax, will be accessible in the wild.

During the solstice-themed event, depending on whether the player is in the northern or southern hemisphere, other Pokémon will occur in the wild and raids. Players can evolve their Bidoof at any moment during the Bidoof event to acquire a Bibarel that learns Hyper Beam. During the event, players will be able to save Shadow Bidoof from Team GO Rocket.

Players have a lot to look forward to in the final two weeks of June, and they’ll have even more to look forward to next month when Pokémon GO hosts its annual Pokémon GO Fest event, which will feature the introduction of Mythical Pokémon Meloetta.
