Trainers who dabble in the world of fashion will definitely enjoy Pokemon Go’s new event, which will be based on the upcoming Paris Fashion Week. This exciting event will be starting on October 2, 2020, and it will continue to run until October 8, 2020.
One exciting thing you can look forward to during this event is the fact that the Pokemon you catch will have special accessories. At the moment, there are four different fashionable Pokemon that have been confirmed. This means that trainers who want to have the special varieties of Pokemon found in this event will have a lot of catching to do.
The Pokemon Go event will last about a week, so this gives you and other trainers a lot of time to benefit from the new finds. In addition to that, there will also be new event exclusive field research tasks that you will have to complete while the event is ongoing.
So far, the four Pokemon that have been confirmed to have special accessories are the following: Smoochum, Kirlia, Shinx, and Croagunk. If you ever get to hatch a Smoochum from a 7km egg during the event, the adorable Pokemon will come with a bow.
On the other hand, you will be able to find Kirlia and Shinx in raid bosses, and they will be wearing top hats. In addition to that, the lovely Kirlia will know the exclusive Draining Kiss attack.
Last but definitely not least, Croagunk will show up as a surprise encounter while wearing a backward cap. Although there’s a very rare chance that they will also appear in the wild. The spawn rates for other Pokemon will also increase while this event is ongoing. So far, the following are the confirmed ones:
Along with this event is the release of the shiny Kricketot, which is most definitely exciting news for many players. This also means that Pokemon Go has also released the shiny form of Kricketune. Trainers who want to get their hands on Kricketot should unquestionably take advantage of the event’s increased spawn rates.
You might think that the features we’ve mentioned so far are already a lot, but wait — there’s more. This event will also give players a free bag accessory item which they can then equip on their trainers.
As long as the event is ongoing, you will be able to head on over to the in-game shop and get your character an official Longchamp bag. This collaboration with Longchamp means that you can purchase the same bag in real life after the event begins.
At the moment, we don’t have any idea what the specific field research tasks the event will have, or what other Pokemon will have increased spawn rates. We also don’t know yet if those Pokemon wearing accessories will be able to evolve. If so, will they be able to keep their fashionable items?
As previously mentioned, the Longchamp x Pokemon Go Fashion Week collaboration will begin 8:00 am GMT on Friday, October 2nd, 2020, and will end 10:00 pm GMT on Thursday, October 8th, 2020.
We’ll surely update you with more information once more event details are revealed.
