Amazon Prime Gaming has brought Rise of the Tomb Raider to the Epic Games Store. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is available through November 14 and contains the main game, all DLC, plus additional content.
Amazon Prime Gaming has been a terrific resource for developing gaming libraries because it offers independent and AAA games for “free” to those who subscribe to Amazon Prime on a monthly basis. Rise of the Tomb Raider joins other free games such as Dragon Age: Inquisition and Control this month.
The base game and season pass, as well as all-new content, are included in Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. In Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch, Cold Darkness Awakened, Blood Ties, and Lara’s Nightmare DLC, players can play in co-op Endurance mode, endure the Extreme Survivor challenge, and continue their quest. This version also features an outfit and weapon inspired by Tomb Raider III, as well as five additional skins for Lara Croft.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, which normally costs $29.99, was released on the Epic Games shop on October 12, 2021. The base game was launched in November 2015 as a limited-time Xbox One exclusive. It was published for PlayStation 4 and PC a year later. Critics and fans alike praised it, and it garnered excellent marks across the board. The graphics and range of content were particularly commended.
The second installment of the Tomb Raider rebooted trilogy built on the success of the first. With breathtaking graphics, creative gameplay, and exciting new experiences, Square Enix resurrected a property that had been dormant for years and brought it back to the forefront of players’ thoughts. Anyone eager to retry the game or go on a new action-packed adventure could do a lot worse than this deal.
While those who bought the game at full price in the last two weeks may be disappointed, this is still a terrific value for anyone who is even vaguely interested in the game or series. Epic Games and Amazon Prime Gaming have both offered fantastic offers on AAA games, either at a steep discount or as part of their free game programs. Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary continues the legacy.
