Sonic Mania is available for free on the Epic Games Store for the next week. The critically praised platformer has just arrived on the digital marketplace, and it couldn’t have come at a better moment. Sonic the Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary was commemorated on June 23 with a Sonic Symphony Orchestra concert including live versions of the franchise’s greatest tunes. And the good times aren’t finished yet.
Sonic Mania, a fast-paced game, is now available on the Epic Games Store. Better better, players may download the game for free and keep it until July 1st, when the deal expires. Players may also wish to purchase the $4.99 Encore DLC.
The Sonic Mania Plus experience, which includes an Encore mode and two famous Sonic characters – Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel – was developed by Hyperkinetic Studios in collaboration with Sonic Team.
This free download from the Epic Games Store is a great way for Sonic fans and non-fans alike to celebrate the speedster’s 30-year milestone. PS Now’s June 2021 update included Sonic Forces, Sonic Mania, and Team Sonic Racing to the service’s growing library of titles, allowing PlayStation users to join in the action as well.
