Stardew Valley” is a farm life simulation video game. So, seeing a train in the middle of your farm, unless it’s a tourist train on the railroad overlooking your picturesque, idyllic farm, is weird. There’s an event in the game where a train passes through your farm, which, for many players, is confusing. Here’s everything you need to know about the “A Train Is Passing Through” event in “Stardew Valley.”

What Is The ‘Train Is Passing Through’ Event?

“A train is passing through” is also actually a message that often pops up in the game. The Railroad is a common location where this message emerges. Responding to this message provides free resources, so it’s something to look forward to when you wish to tend your crops and develop relationships with the townspeople.

This message appears automatically on the third of Summer after an earthquake clears the blocked passageway. After this, there is a chance a train will run through Stardew Valley. Also, the message alerts you that a train is about to cross through, so you must immediately head over to the Railroad as soon as you see this message if you want its rewards.

Train Schedule

Any moment between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., there is a random chance that the train will cross through Stardew Valley.

But here’s the catch. There are no particular or guaranteed days when the train will pass, so you must watch for the “A train is passing through” notification.

When you see the message, be sure to book it to the Railroad as quickly as you can. Also, position yourself near the tracks, as you see in the image earlier. But don’t stand too close to the tracks. You don’t want the train to hit you.

Resources And Rewards From The Train

A train not only carries people but also goodies that you can enjoy. Trains in “Stardew Valley” drop several valuable materials and resources you can take advantage of.

These resources include Coal, Geodes, Iron Ore, Leprechaun Shoes, Stone, and Wood. As you progress in the game, you will realize how beneficial they are.

Those are everything you need to know about the “Train Is Passing Through” event in “Stardew Valley.” We hope those have cleared up all the confusion you have about it.
