To start the A Picture for East Akkala Stable side quest, you must first visit East Akkala Stable, located at the crossroads of Akkala’s northeastern corner. If you wish to teleport, the nearest shrine is the Jochi-iu Shrine, and the precise coordinates for this place are 4235, 2740, 0126.
Then, go inside and interact with the empty picture frame to officially begin the quest. Rudi, the stable owner, will then explain his request for a picture of Octorok Lake. But, early on, we are telling you that you must be reminded that this lake has to be in the shape of an Octorok. Octoroks are round, cephalopod-like land creatures in “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” game.
Octorok Lake only mimics the shape of its namesake monster once its waters have risen. So, you will have to wait until rain pours down before you can take a picture.
From the East Akkala Stable, travel south until you see this lake before you. You will also need to check the weather forecast on your screen’s lower right and wait until it rains. You can skip the time by creating a campfire using wood and flint.
As soon as it rains and Octorok Lake shows the right shape, you will then see a red quest marker as you aim your Camera. Now you have the picture. Return to East Akkala Stable with the photo and interact with the empty picture frame again to complete the quest. Fairly simple, right? The Reward
