Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 has been a huge hit recently, with fans considering this title to be an excellent remastering of two beloved classic skateboarding games. Now, in a recent tweet, Activision Blizzard has boasted that the game has reached all-new heights in the gaming community.
More specifically, it is currently “the fastest game to reach 1 million units sold through in franchise history.” They may not have mentioned how fast the game was able to reach that record, however, it has only been out for just over a week so far – that’s pretty amazing, don’t you think?

So far, game critics have given pretty positive reviews for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, seeing as this remastered version still fully captures the feeling that the classic games conveyed all while providing new additions that made the gameplay all the better.
The stages that the game provides also has a certain amount of polish, even including clever twists like an abandoned mall or an empty school due to COVID-19. The skateboarding game also comes with a price of $40, which most likely helped it reach its record-setting numbers.
The fans have been pretty impressed with the positive vibes that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 has provided. For instance, the game released a DLC that helped support military veterans. Not only that, but Jack Black was announced to be a playable character too, which made fans of his super stoked to get the game.
