Treyarch Reveals Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Season 6 Zombies Content

The highly anticipated Season 6 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has been revealed. Black Ops Cold War, perhaps the game’s final major season before the release of the franchise’s 2021 title Call of Duty: Vanguard, is set to go out with a bang, particularly with its Zombies feature.

The latest season of Treyarch’s renowned Black Ops series under the Call of Duty franchise will be released on October 7. While each new season normally necessitates reorganizing storage space to make way for the huge seasonal update, a particularly nefarious issue is forcing Xbox gamers to re-download Black Ops Cold War in its entirety.

According to the official Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War website, gamers will get access to a plethora of new Zombies material. First and foremost, a new round-based Survival map will be released. The map, titled “Forsaken,” will conclude the first part of the Dark Aether narrative, which will take place in a secret Omega test facility in Ukraine.

Players will also have access to a new, one-of-a-kind Wonder Weapon known as the Chrysalax. The Chrysalax has dual-use, as it can also be used as a multi-kill axe known as the Chrysalax Savager. It also changes into the Chrysalax Storm, a rapid-fire Dark Aether energy weapon.

PhD Slider is a fan-favorite Zombies perk in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. PhD Slider, the final perk following Season 5’s Death Perception, features the same basic sliding explosion behavior fans are familiar with but with potentially game-changing upgrade tiers.

The first layer provides protection to environmental damage while sliding, while the second extends the slide duration. Tier 3 protects against self-inflicted explosive damage, Tier 4 improves sliding speed, and Tier 5 causes an explosion when falling from a great distance.

In addition to the new map, Wonder Weapon, and perk, there are two new Support Weapons: the Hand Cannon and the ARC-XD. The Hand Cannon is designed to do colossal damage to Special or Elite foes with few bullets. At the same time, the ARC-XD attracts zombies before blasting them away with an Aether blast, which could be useful for PlayStation’s latest Onslaught offers.

With each Surge, the exclusive mode receives an all-new Onslaught Elite LTM, which features Elite opponents. If they want to do well, players will need to use every tool in their new armory.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 6 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting seasons for Zombies DLC in a long time, with a new set of Zombies Challenges for players to accomplish. Concerned that the game would be abandoned after Vanguard is released, a reliable source has revealed that Black Ops Cold War will receive extra support beyond Season 6.
