How to Check Your Net Balance

As an Airtel user, it’s important to know the different ways you can check your balance. At the moment, there are three different methods you can do. These three methods include downloading the Airtel app, going to Airtel’s official website, or using USSD codes. We’ll discuss each one below, so keep reading to find out more.

Through the Mobile App

The first way to check your Airtel balance is by downloading the Airtel Thanks application on your phone or tablet. This particular app, which used to be called the MyAirtel app, is available on both the App Store and Google Play.

  1. Depending on whether you have an Android or iOS, head over to your device’s respective app marketplace and download the Airtel Thanks app.
  2. Create an account and input your mobile number.
  3. After successfully signing up, you should be able to see a list of options on the app’s home screen. For instance, you can see an option to check your data balance and other offers. You can also check what your daily limit is and how many days you have left under your current balance.
  4. On the app dashboard, you can check your data balance as well as Airtel’s main balance.

If you don’t want to download the app for whatever reason, you can check your data balance on the Airtel website by going to http://www.airtel.in/. Simply follow these steps if you want to check your balance via this method:

  1. The first step is to log in to your Airtel account on the website. To do so, simply click on the person’s logo located in the upper-left corner of the website.
  2. You’ll be redirected to the login page, where you’ll be asked to type in your service ID, mobile number, and password.
  3. If you haven’t created an Airtel account yet, tap on the Register option situated on the top of the page. Enter all the necessary information and type in your password of choice.
  4. If you can’t remember your Airtel password, tap on the option that says “Forgot my password?” From there, follow the instructions carefully until you create a new password for your account.
  5. Once all of that has been settled and you have gained access to your account, tap on the Account Information tab situated right below the homepage.
  6. Select your Airtel DSL number. This should showcase any unpaid dues.
  7. Tap on View Unpaid Amount. This option will show you how much your usage for the month is already.

By Using USSD Codes

Lastly, you can check your net balance by using USSD codes.

  1. Take your phone and dial *121#.
  2. A menu should appear shortly after, where you have the option to check different information about your carrier. To check your balance, type in the number 2.
  3. From there, type in option 1 to choose “Current Pack Info.” This section will give you all the details you need to know about your Airtel plan.

Here are a couple of other helpful USSD codes that might come in handy. These codes will help you check your GPRS balance details.

  • If you want to check your Airtel 2G/3G/4G net balance, dial *121*21#.
