According to BoxOfficePro, the two firms are now promoting an offer to distribute limited edition non-fungible tokens to advance opening day ticket holders of the forthcoming Marvel film.

It should be noted that the deal is only available to Stubs Premiere, Stubs A-List, and Investor Connect members. Spider-Man: No Way Home advance tickets went on sale Friday, and the film will be released on December 16th.

These ticket holders will get an email with a code to redeem the Spider-Man NFTs, of which only 86,000 are available. The emails, however, will only be issued to clients who scan their tickets at theaters on the film’s opening day.

Users who get the codes will have until the end of March to claim their non-fungible tokens. To collect the award, there will be a dedicated website that will use the famous WAX blockchain.

According to AMC CEO Adam Aron, the strategy is as follows:

The CEO of the cinema chain tweeted yesterday that the launch of Spider-Man advance tickets resulted in record-breaking online ticket traffic.

AMC began taking Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and other cryptocurrencies as payment earlier this year. Aron also stated that the theater chain intends to accept the memecoin Shiba Inu within “60-120 days.”

At the time of writing, the price of BTC is hovering at $58k, up 3% in the previous seven days. Over the last thirty days, the cryptocurrency has lost 6% of its value.

A few days ago, Bitcoin fell to $53k due to fresh fud from the new COVID variation and then went sideways for a few days. However, the cryptocurrency began to show signs of recovery yesterday.
