Animoca Brands has teamed up with Korean record label Cube Entertainment to create a music metaverse inspired by K-pop. The collaboration will create NFTs and ecosystem tokens for internationally renowned K-pop musicians and actors.

The NFTs will be created using a variety of resources such as albums, pictures, digital sound sources, and avatars. Featuring K-pop artists managed by Cube Ent, they will provide full digital property rights as well as other benefits associated with blockchain tokenization.

“K-pop is taking the world by storm, and here at Animoca Brands, we can’t wait to work with Cube Ent and its roster of K-pop artists as we continue our efforts to make the open metaverse a reality,” said Yat Siu, Animoca Brands’ co-founder and executive chairman.

Animoca Brands is a major blockchain gaming company with a diverse product range that includes the Sandbox, Crazy Kings, and Crazy Defense Heroes. The corporation is also behind the REVV and SAND tokens, which were on a dizzying upward trend earlier this month as a result of the metaverse craze.

This is not the first time Animoca has made use of well-known intellectual properties. To mention a few, it has created products based on Formula 1®, Marvel, WWE, Power Rangers, and MotoGPTM. On the other hand, Cube Entertainment transforms raw musicians into excellent performers to create quality material for the global market.

As Ahn Woo Hyung, CEO of Cube Ent, correctly points out, the joint venture represents a significant step forward in the development of a worldwide digital cultural market and the advancement of the digital content sector.
