“The Sims” has become one of the most famous video game franchises since its first edition was launched in 2000. In this real-life simulation game, you can create your own story.
Your Sims can get married, bear children, build their dream house, ace their careers, and more. Perhaps anything there is to do in life is in “The Sims” game. Soon, a new “The Sims” game is coming, and this is “The Sims 5.” Communities are sharing the features they want to see in “The Sims 5.”
Possible Features In ‘The Sims 5’
These possible new features shall give you more reasons to be excited about “The Sims 5.”
Calorie Count For Every Meal
Wouldn’t “The Sims 5” be closer to real life if your Sims can be aware of the calorie content of the food they eat?
Without this feature, your Sims would keep eating unhealthy food, such as burgers, and they can get fat quickly.
Some gamers want every meal in “The Sims 5” to have a calorie rank or a healthiness variable.
Open World
You know of the biggest open world games right now, such as “The Legend of Zelda,” “Grand Theft Auto,” and “Minecraft.” Now, imagine if this feature is in “The Sims 5.” Can the wishes of its players come true?
“The Sims 3” isn’t an open world but is successful in giving an open world feel. In “The Sims 4,” players have seen the world around the neighborhood, so the gaming community thinks it is cool if this open world becomes more possible in “The Sims 5.”
Sims Identifying Each Other On The Street Or At Home
“The Sims” games identify and brand themselves as games that simulate real life as closely as possible. But, they miss some points, such as Sims identifying each other as they pass by one another.
In the real world, people will wave at each other when meeting on the street, say “Good morning” to people at home as they wake up, and say “Hi” to co-workers in the office. It would be great if “The Sims 5” could also simulate this.
Bank Loans And Money Transfer
Interestingly, one thing that “The Sims” games have succeeded at is simulating life’s financial hardships. The players can agree, right? Without using cheats, it is difficult to earn money in “The Sims.”
But what if you can request a loan from a “The Sims” bank? Or maybe allowing Sims to have a mortgage, like what happens in real life? Or perhaps enabling your Sims to give their children some of the household’s funds when the latter decides to move out.
Other possible features are progressive aging, companion preferences for your Sims, and stairs in various shapes, such as twisted.
It’s Official!
Don’t worry now because “The Sims 5” is already official. Whew. It is codenamed under “Project Rene,” with speculations saying its earliest release date is by the fall of this year.
