Lately, physical copies of wonderful indie Switch games have been released, giving collectors and fans the opportunity to add these games onto their shelves. Released digitally back in 2019 for the Nintendo Switch, it has been announced that Cadence of Hyrule will have a physical edition.
As a matter of fact, preorders for the game are now available. Cadence of Hyrule is a rhythm game with Crypt of the Necrodancer’s mechanics, brought to you by Brace Yourself Games.
The entire game is themed off of renowned-title Legend of Zelda, and you get to play as either Link, Zelda, or Cadence. Simply put, this game is a music-based dungeon crawler, and you have to move in time with the beat of the music playing in the background.

That being said, preordering the physical edition will cost you $40. Understandably, this will hurt your wallet a little bit, especially if you have already purchased the digital copy of Cadence of Hyrule.
However, it will definitely be worth it as a collector. After all, it’s been confirmed that it will include all three DLCs that were announced for the game. This means it will also include the pretty cool Majora’s Mask-themed DLC.
The physical edition is scheduled to be released this October 23. However, if you’re planning to just get the digital copy, you can get it on the eShop for $25. You also have the option of getting the season pass, which costs about $15.
If you haven’t tried Cadence of Hyrule yet, we highly recommend it. It’s a wonderful and unique take on the Legend of Zelda series, all while adding its own twist to the game. You can also download the demo, so you should definitely check it out.
