Activision has launched a new event for Call of Duty Mobile Season 10 – Hunt for Makarov. In the event, players are tasked to hunt Makarov who left Zakhaev Airport and hid in the jungle for protection.
Recently, other Call of Duty titles took the limelight. While a new Warzone mobile game was leaked through a job listing, the excitement for Black Ops Cold War is consistently growing after multiple gameplay reveals.
To keep players engrossed on their mobile phones, Activision launched a new event for Season 10.
Hunt for Makarov
This new event is the main reason why Call of Duty Mobile’s Season 10 is titled “The Hunt”. The infamous villain Vladimir Makarov is hiding in a jungle near the airport.
Players must go through several missions in order to find Makarov’s location. The answer to succeeding the mission is to gather Exploration Points by participating in a battle royale and various multiplayer modes.
The amount of Exploration Points differs depending on the game mode and map. To earn the maximum amount of points, players should choose to play on the Terminal and Pine maps while in Headquarters mode.
At the end of each game, Exploration Points earned will be displayed as binoculars. At any time, players can check their progress via a dedicated tab in the main menu. Players will have until September 31 to finish all twelve quests and find Makarov.
Players receive a certain reward for every mission completed by unlocking them through Exploration Points. Some points will come along with photos of Vladimir Makarove which can be traded for a First Horseman frame.
Rewards that can be received through this event include calling cards and weapon/equipment skins. The complete rewards are listed below:
- Smoke Grenade – Forest Felt
- SMRS – Forest Felt
- S36 – Iridescent
- Backpack one – Iridescent
- Striker – Forest Felt
- Frag Grenade – Forest Felt
- Knife – Iridescent
- Ninja – Forest Felt
- Beastly Pursuit – Calling Card
- Man-O-War – Iridescent
- BK57 – Forest Felt
Finishing the twelfth mission rewards players with the M4 Feral Stalker weapon skin. Players should consider taking on these quests because these rewards are unique and can’t be received in any other way.
The new Call of Duty Mobile Season 10 event also comes with a comic released every week and can be accessed through the Battle Pass menu. Using this cross-media strategy allows the developers to go deeper in detail and allow both legacy old and new fans to enjoy it at the same time.
