Call of Duty Players Demand Removal Of Black Ops Cold War Guns

Call of Duty Warzone players haven’t been satisfied with the game recently. Whether it’s cheaters flooding the game, overpowered weapons, or the unlimited stim glitch that does not appear to be getting addressed properly, the gaming community is getting discontented. One specific issue that has players in pandemonium right now is the integration of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War into Call of Duty Warzone.

A few weeks after the release of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, the game got an update that allowed it to share player progression, unlocks, and a lot more with Call of Duty Warzone. Not only is Warzone launchable inside Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, but a new map was also introduced to the game that was inspired by Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s battle royale, Blackout, as well as all of the multiplayer weapons from Black Ops Cold War are now available in Warzone.

Many players from the gaming community were hyped because this meant that the battle royale would also be reinvigorated. Now, not only would Warzone have the modern weapons from Call of Duty Modern Warfare but also the classic guns from Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War as well. However, the integration may not have gone as smoothly as planned.

Almost instantly, the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War guns took over the Warzone meta, and even after a couple of updates, guns such as the DMR 14 remained overpowered in the game. Rather than a balanced game, Warzone is a title in which the top several weapons are on top, and right now those are almost all from Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War.

Although there have been endless posts and comments all over the internet, one post, in particular, has caught the attention of fans as they all agree and demand that the Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War integration be removed from Warzone.

We can all agree on this… from CODWarzone

Of course, in reality, that simply will not happen, barring something unpredictable from Activision as the company believes in Call of Duty Warzone and will possibly want to see it be in some way associated with the mainline Call of Duty titles for the near future.

Although some players may wonder that glitches have been on a rise since the integration, the truth is they have been an issue for the whole of Warzone’s life. Cheaters should be something that the developers take seriously but they have plagued the game since its release.
