The teaser is brief, showing only a brief peek of the new playable character before stating that the DLC will be available on October 7. The Ancient Spirits DLC will cost $4.99 and will be available for purchase on all game launch platforms. On the release day, players will be able to discover more about the new character, as well as details on more material being added to Children of Morta.
The new character isn’t identified in the teaser, but their name is Yajouj’Majouj, according to the Ancient Spirits description on the Microsoft Store. The character is a mythical person associated with an in-game tragic love story involving a human guy named Yajouj and a female goblin named Majouj. According to the description, Yajouj’Majouj will have the unique ability to transition between two separate forms at will, resulting in a unique combat style in the game that mixes both for lethal effects.
This October, players will be able to learn more about Yajouj’Majouj and put their new skills to the test in the Family Trials game mode. Along with the new character, some of the new features will include new cosmetic skins for each of the game’s characters.
The Skin system, which will be a new area in the character selection screen where players may pick distinctive masks for the characters in the game, will be included in the DLC. There will also be an in-game bundle with new relics, charms, and graces for Children of Morta players to use.
