Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass has been on a roll recently, with the firm adding a slew of critically praised and day one titles to the program. Microsoft concluded September by adding six new Xbox Game Pass titles, and it has started October with a new Xbox Game Pass game. This means that Xbox Game Pass users may now try out seven new titles to kick off the month correctly.
AI: The Sominum Files, Astria Ascending, Marvel’s Avengers, Mighty Goose, and Unsighted were the six titles added to Xbox Game Pass on September 30, while Phoenix Point, the next game from the developer of X-COM, was added on October 1. Phoenix Point was previously accessible via Xbox Game Pass on PC, but it is just now making its console premiere as a day one Game Pass release.
Astria Ascending is another Xbox Game Pass day one release included in the newest round of new titles, and it is a traditional JRPG produced by several genre giants. Unsighted is also a day one release, with mainly good reviews from critics who have been wowed by its top-down action gameplay.
- AI: The Sominum Files (Console)
- Astria Ascending (Console/PC/Cloud)
- Marvel’s Avengers (Console/PC/Cloud)
- Mighty Goose (Console)
- Phoenix Point (Console)
- Scarlet Nexus (Console/PC/Cloud)
- Unsighted (Console/PC)
Marvel’s Avengers and Scarlet Nexus are two of the most prominent new Xbox Game Pass titles. Marvel’s Avengers is a Crystal Dynamics live service game that has struggled to establish a committed following but still offers a fun superhero-themed campaign for fans to check out. Its inclusion on Xbox Game Pass may be precisely what it needs to recover its footing and increase its audience, especially since the Game Pass edition includes the War for Wakanda expansion.
Scarlet Nexus, on the other hand, stands out due to its recent release. In fact, before to its release, speculations circulated that it would be a day one Xbox Title Pass game. That didn’t happen, but Scarlet Nexus made its way to Xbox Game Pass just a few months after its initial release, entering the program just a few months later. The majority of Scarlet Nexus reviews were good, and the game should appeal to those searching for an action-RPG experience.
More new titles will be available to Xbox Game Pass members later this month, including the day one Xbox Game Pass release Back 4 Blood, which will be available on October 12.
