Treyarch is developing the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode, which will be a continuation of the Dark Aether storyline from Black Ops Cold War. It appears that fans will learn more about what to expect from CoD Zombies when the full reveal takes place later this week.
Activision has confirmed that the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode will be announced on Thursday, October 14, at 8 a.m. PT. This announcement included artwork for the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode, which confirms the involvement of Nazis, as well as some kind of entity in the background, as in previous Zombies modes. Furthermore, this new version of Zombies will reportedly include demons in the mix.
The Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies experience will be a mix of Dark Aether, zombies, and demons, according to Activision. It remains to be seen what shape these demons will take or whether they will have a genuine impact on how the game mode plays out. Call of Duty games have previously experimented with Zombies modes by introducing new enemy types and the like, so it will be interesting to see what these demons bring to the table.
When the curtain is lifted on the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode, fans will have a pretty good idea of what the final product will be like.
