Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies Will Feature Demons

Zombies have been a Call of Duty tradition for well over a decade, and the upcoming Call of Duty: Vanguard will carry on that tradition. Treyarch is developing the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode, which will be a continuation of the Dark Aether storyline from Black Ops Cold War. It appears that fans will learn more about what to expect from CoD Zombies when the full reveal takes place later this week.

Activision has confirmed that the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode will be announced on Thursday, October 14, at 8 a.m. PT. This announcement included artwork for the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode, which confirms the involvement of Nazis, as well as some kind of entity in the background, as in previous Zombies modes. Furthermore, this new version of Zombies will reportedly include demons in the mix.

The Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies experience will be a mix of Dark Aether, zombies, and demons, according to Activision. It remains to be seen what shape these demons will take or whether they will have a genuine impact on how the game mode plays out. Call of Duty games have previously experimented with Zombies modes by introducing new enemy types and the like, so it will be interesting to see what these demons bring to the table.

When the curtain is lifted on the Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies mode, fans will have a pretty good idea of what the final product will be like. Activision has already extensively promoted the Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer experience, even allowing players to try the game ahead of launch via multiple beta tests, and it has recently highlighted the campaign mode as well.

The Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign will tell an alternate history story set both during and after World War II. In the plot, the player characters will attempt to prevent the rise of a Fourth Reich in the aftermath of Hitler’s death. Activision recently released a Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign trailer, which gives fans a look at the characters and villains, and it appears that fans of the franchise are in for a treat.

The only thing fans have to look forward to now that Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies has been revealed is the game itself. The Call of Duty: Vanguard release date is less than a month away, so fans will be able to enjoy the multiplayer, campaign, and Zombies modes as soon as possible.
