Timing has not been by the side of Rockstar Games lately. While Rockstar Games is optimistic, despite the delay in launching the first “Red Dead Redemption” game’s PC version this October, some fans still do not like the news. Actually, they don’t care. Here’s the story.
We’re now in “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The very first “Red Dead Redemption” game was released in 2010, and it is only this year that the PC version will be unveiled. After over two decades, right? While it is more fun to play video games on Xbox or PlayStation, nothing beats the classic style that PC gaming can offer.
This October 29th, “Red Dead Redemption” on PC will launch.
A fan said the date is great timing because it’s closer to the first payday of their new job.
“What a lovely thing to treat myself to,” they said. Yes, it’s best to treat yourself from time to time.
Gaming news media shared details about the upcoming PC game. While the PC version is not a remastered or remade version, they quoted Rockstar Games confirming that it will include the Undead Nightmare DLC, something gamers have been enjoying for so long.
This game comes from 2010 as well. It adds a non-canonical zombie- and horror-themed single-player campaign to the game, including two multiplayer modes, and cosmetic additions to characters and environment.
Interestingly, it is set in this alternate timeline from the original game’s plot, following John Marston, the outlaw, setting out on an adventure to find the cause of and possible cure for a zombie plague that victimized his wife and son. Expect to see him in action versus the undead.
Moreover, Rockstar Games also confirmed the port will get some PC-exclusive features to enhance your gameplay. These include native 4K resolution, Ultrawide and Super Ultrawide monitor support, and so much more.
Generally, fans are loving what they are hearing.
“LETS GO!!!! The mods are gonna be great,” said a gamer, even thanking Rockstar Games for this development.
Others were sharing how they’ve bought it already and are looking forward to buying more!
But, in a sudden turn of events, some fans simply do not care about it. For them, they’d instead look forward to the launch of “GTA VI.”
“Grand Theft Auto VI” is the next game in the “GTA” series, but Rockstar Games is again stalling its release. It’s been over a decade since the last game in the series came out, “GTA V,” which was in 2013. Well, it seems those fans have every right to complain.
