Dell’s college-friendly laptops are just getting more robust than ever. Here’s the news.

Dell’s Inspiron line is a series of consumer-centric laptops – including desktop computers – designed to cater to a wide range of requirements and budgets, offering various models with different features and specifications. These Inspiron laptops are regarded for their versatility, providing options for daily use, multimedia, gaming, entertainment, professional tasks, and of course, school use. This line of Dell laptops is getting a massive update. 

With Dell refreshing its Inspiron lineup with all-new features, you will be able to see and experience these laptops and the company’s two-in-ones with updated CPUs from Intel. Meanwhile, some models will have updated GPUs from NVIDIA. 

The laptops getting a refresh include the Inspiron 16 Plus, Inspiron 16 2-in-1, Inspiron 14 Plus, and Inspiron 14 2-in-1. They will sport the latest 13th-generation Intel CPUs or AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs, which are great features for students using these laptops. 

The Inspiron 16 Plus is a lightweight 16-inch laptop at 2.06 kilograms. It features a 120Hz display, up to 13th-generation Intel Core H-series CPU, and is getting an update to feature AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs – either the Ryzen 5 7640HS or Ryzen 7 7840HS. There are also units with options of up to RTX 4060 graphics.

Meanwhile, the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 features Intel Core i5-1335U, 13th-generation Core i7-1360P, the AMD Ryzen 5 7530U CPU, or the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U CPU, and the GeForce MX550. The GeForce MX550 is present when you choose one with a 13th-generation Intel CPU. 

And, of course, there are the 14 inchers, too. You’ve got the Inspiron 14 2-in-1, which has options for the Intel Core i5-1335U and Intel Core i7-1355U or Core i3-1315U. 

Meanwhile, the Inspiron 14 Plus features the 13th-generation H-series CPU paired together with RTX 4050 graphics and the same AMD Ryzen CPUs as the larger Inspiron 16 Plus.
