Developer Codemasters have announced that their upcoming Dirt 5 game gets delayed again and will now have a launch date of November 6.
The developers have already previously delayed the game until the middle of October but are now receiving another rescheduled release date so it launches in a similar timeframe with the next-gen consoles.
A Codemasters spokesperson revealed in a press release that:
“The revised launch date will allow Codemasters to release all versions of the game in a shorter timeframe, with the next generation of console launches expected for the holiday season.”
Both Sony and Microsoft haven’t revealed the exact release dates for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. However, the timing of the release dates of several next-games implies that the next-gen consoles might be available around those times.
Players who buy Dirt 5 on either the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 can upgrade their game freely on the next-gen consoles thanks to the free upgrade feature on the PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Smart Delivery feature on the Xbox Series X.
Players who bought the Dirt 5 Amplified Edition will have early access to the game on November 3 which is three days ahead of its official launch.
