Elden Ring” is a world filled with so many enemies, which is why you need the best weapons to trump them and progress through the game. Among the several weapons here are staffs.

Staffs, also called staves, are a variant of melee armament in “Elden Ring.” Finding yourself around every corner when looking for the most ideal staff? Here’s a comprehensive list of some of the best staffs you can choose from in the game.

The Most Powerful: Lusat’s Glintstone Staff

The most powerful staff in “Elden Ring so far is Lusat’s Glintstone Staff, and many would agree. It may have its own drawbacks, but it’s still the most potent.

This weapon’s passive effect grants extra sorcery scaling, translating to approximately 10 to 11 percent more damage than the Carian Regal Scepter (which you’ll learn about later on).

Are they wondering about Lusat’s Glintstone’s Staff’s disadvantage? Well, it is that every cast consumes 50 percent more FP. Players not wishing to run out of FP only after a handful of casts must invest heavily in Mind and Intelligence.

The Rest Of The Best Revealed!

Carian Regal Scepter

You’ve read about the Carian Regal Scepter a while ago. This is the staff of Queen Rennala, one that gives Full Moon Sorceries their much-needed boosts. This means it is a promising weapon to wield if you are using the Snow Witch build. Equipping the hat of Ranni shall boost the damage you do even more. Primarily, it scales with Intelligence. But, when upgraded fully, it also gets a minimal boost from Dexterity and Strength.

It also has a downside, of course. It needs 60 Intelligence to wield, so it will only likely be valuable to pure magic builds.

Prince Of Death’s Staff

The name sounds fearful; it is fearful. Basically speaking, the Prince of Death’s Staff is the better version of the Gelmir Glintstone Staff. It is also a Faith and an Intelligence scaling staff, but with the potential to become extremely powerful. As a matter of fact, apologies to the staffs that went ahead on this list, the Prince of Death’s Staff is the best staff in the game concerning raw damage output.

But, but, it requires heavy investment in both Faith and Intelligence before it can reach its full potential. Notably, we’re talking about 80 Faith and 80 Intellience.

Regarding its passive effect, this staff boosts Death sorceries by 10 percent.

Gelmir Glintstone Staff

Another staff that has been preempted previously is the Gelmir Glintstone Staff. This staff, like the others, also scales with Intelligence and Faith. It also gets a tiny boost from Strength. These make this staff the perfect and brilliant choice for those who wish to craft dual magic and incantations build. Additionally, it also boosts lava sorcery, making the Gelmir Glintstone Staff hot, hot, hot when held by the right hands.

The downside: well, it may take some farming to locate, but it will all be worth it for those with the proper build.

Azur’s Glintstone Staff

Some say Azur’s Glintstone Staff is the number one. But here, we’re placing it as one of the runners-up. Sure, it’s the perfect staff for mages who wish to unleash spells at a faster rate. Its passive effect increases spellcasting speed by anywhere between eight and 10 percent at the cost of 20 percent more FP. Bad tradeoff? No, no.

Why is its speed increase variable? Well, it’s because its passive effect does not shorten cast times per se. Rather, it provides 40 virtual Dexterity, which then translates to quicker spellcasting.

Here’s the downside. It’s only better in that regard since the talisman only offers 30 virtual Dexterity. Weigh your options.

Albinauric Staff

An incredible, unique staff, check. A staff that scales with Strength and Intelligence, check. We’re talking about the Albinauric Staff. But wait, there’s more. It’s the only staff in “Elden Ring” scaling with Arcane. Fully upgraded, this staff reaches an S rank in Arcane scaling, which makes it supremely valuable to just about any build aiming to level that stat.

Sure, this staff does not scale with Dexterity. Nevertheless, it still benefits those who have crafted a katana-wielding bleed build. Those commonly level Arcane to increase their bleed damage. Thus, you’re on the right track when you choose to keep the Albinauric Staff in your inventory when you need to sling some spells.

Academy Glintstone Staff

There are numerous Glintstone staffs in “Elden Ring.” Another is the Academy Glintstone Staff. Yes, it’s as regal as the awarding event.

First, this is one of the few staffs in the game that doesn’t have any passive effects. Simply, it’s a solid magic stick with good scaling. Generally, the drawbacks are distant.

It’s the perfect staff for you once the Meteorite Staff and Demi-Human’s Queen Staff have halted serving their purposes.

Furthermore, it’s also unbelievably easy to acquire. “Elden Ring” gamers can get this staff as soon as they start the game. It’s recommended to go this way to trample the drawbacks.

Staff Of The Guilty

Don’t be discouraged by that name. The Staff of the Guilty is still a very powerful stave in “Elden Ring.”

If you have not pumped any points into Intelligence but still want to make use of Sorcery, use this staff. It levels with Strength and Faith, so it’s an excellent choice for those who have crafted an incantation casting tank. In addition, it also boosts Thorn spells and causes bleeding, so using this makes the game more fun.
