He started as a protagonist in the story, but later became ally in the latter parts. He is the second JoJo in the family, a natural-born Ripple user and Stand user later on, wielding Hermit Purple, the psychic photographic Stand. The way he conquers threats around him in his life is with his initiative attitude and impressive ingenuity, interestingly battling Vampires, Pillar Men, and Stand users.
Jotaro Kujo

The first protagonist on this list, who does not bear the name “Joestar” yet is still part of the family, Kujo, is a traveler. However, he is a delinquent living an ordinary life until Dio, the old enemy of the Joestar family, returns. He then travels to Egypt to save his mom and stop the Vampire once and for all.
He wields the incredibly potent Star Platinum, thus Kujo became the first JoJo introduced knowing the Standa and is among the most popular characters in this popular series.
Josuke Higashikata

Ah, the fashionable 16-year-old Higashikata. Age definitely does not matter as this high school first-year student in Morioh town learns he is the illegitimate son of Joseph after he meets Kujo, who informs him about that. After his grandfather dies, he vows to protect his town from the evil Stand users. He possesses Crazy Diamond, a mighty Stand that can repair almost anything.
Giorno Giovanna

Also, a young boy dressed in the anime like a feminine, Giovanna is the fifth JoJo and the illegitimate son of Dio, conceived with the stolen body of Jonathan. It is interesting because though he is the son of a villain, he is actually a protagonist.
He has always wanted to be part of Passione, a powerful gang, and become a Gang-Star. He is a natural-born Stand User wielding the life-giving Gold Experience in battle.
Jolyne Cujoh

Besides being the first woman in the series, Cujoh is the only female JoJo to date. She is Jotaro’s daughter, but you can notice that their surnames are different, which is quite interesting. That may be because she was imprisoned and in prison, she awakened her string-based Stand known as Stone Free.
