December 14th will be very special for “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” gamers as the new “The Indigo Disk” DLC arrives that day. What a holiday treat, right?
‘The Indigo Disk’ Overview
“The Indigo Disk” is the second part of the game’s two expansions. The first part is “The Teal Mask,” now available, where players discover beyond the Paldea region as they embark on a school trip to Kitakami. In Kitakami, they will meet new people and Pokémons while uncovering the mysteries that lie behind the area’s folk tales.
Meanwhile, “The Indigo Disk” continues the story as players become exchange students and head to Blueberry Academy. Even more interesting is that this school is mainly located under the sea with its curriculum emphasizing Pokémon battling.
Blueberry Academy
Blueberry Academy showcases a terrarium with four environments with multiple trainers and Pokémons. Throughout the story, meet new faces, such as Professor Cyrano and Lacey, the battle-prone student. Also, characters such as Kiean and Carmine from “The Teal Mask” are making their appearances.
Returning Pokémons
Plus, there will also be a brand new list of Pokémon names that will officially be part of “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s” roster.
Furthermore, all start Pokémons will be available throughout the story. Unlike in previous games, players can catch them in the wild. Exciting, isn’t it? Also, take note that this DLC will have regional forms like Alolan Exeggutor.
Also, note that the base level of all Pokémons in “The Indigo Disk” will be 65. Thus, ensure you have a roster ready and trained before embarking on this all-new journey.
4 New Pokémons
All of these new Pokémons in “The Indigo Disk” are either legendaries or mythical. The first Pokémon unveiled is Terapagos, a turtle-like Pokémon that keeps many secrets. The other three are Paradox variants of already known Pokémons. They are Raging Bolt (Raikou), Archaludon (Duraludon), and Iron Crown (Cobalion).
