The Walt Disney Company – the team behind your favorite classics like Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, and the Little Mermaid, to name a few – works very hard to continue captivating audiences worldwide.
Aside from animated movies, TV shows, and merchandise, there are now also video games inspired by your favorite Disney classics, such as “Disney Dreamlight Valley.”
Launched in early access last September, “Disney Dreamlight Valley” is a hybrid between life-sim and an adventure game rich with explorations, quests, and engaging activities that feature your beloved Disney and Pixar friends, both old and new.
In this game, players tend to a magical valley where various Disney and Pixar characters reside. But, this place encountered a curse that caused them to lose their memories of their lives in this valley. Now it is up to you to discover Dreamlight and bring the magic back to this place.
You can partake in different quests in the game, among which are Friendship Quests. Characters in this game give these quests. Once you complete these Friendship Quests, you don’t only earn Friendship XP but also many other rewards. Among the most popular quests of this kind is The Mysterious Wreck, given by your ever-so-adorable canine friend, Goofy.

Guide To Completing The Mysterious Wreck Quest
After you have gained access to Dazzle Beach, where you will be doing the repair, you must take the leftmost slope from the meadow down toward the beach, and pass by the well and Goofy’s Stall to get to the island with the shadow-covered pillar. Then, you will see a paddle on the sands on the far side of this island.
Now pick the paddle up and talk to Goofy. He will then agree to help fix the raft together with you, but he’ll be requesting some materials. They are:
- 30 Hardwood (Find them in Frosted Heights, Forgotten Lands, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Forest of Valor)
- 25 Clay (Available in Sunlit Plateau, Glade of Trust, and Forgotten Lands)
- 7 Rope (Crafted with 8 Fiber each)
- 10 Iron Ingots (Made each with 5 Iron Ore and 1 Coal)
After you have collected or crafted these, go back to Goofy, and he will ask you to make a Raft Repair Kit at a Crafting Station.
Do what Goofy asks, then speak to him once more before leading him down to the raft on the island in Dazzle Beach.
Then, go ahead and interact with the raft. Use the Repair Kit on it so you can fix it, then talk to Goofy again to complete this quest, allowing you to climb aboard the raft and start The Lonely Island quest for the Little Mermaid herself, Ariel.
Aside from repairing a destroyed boat for Goofy, this quest also enables you to bring Ariel back to the valley.
