Tech enthusiasts in India – the millennials, particularly – are in a celebratory mood right now as HP has introduced and unveiled new laptops in the South Asian nation. Keep reading for the news.

The multinational information technology company has unveiled its latest range of laptops for the Indian market. HP also said the laptops mainly cater to Gen Z and millennial buyers. 

According to statistics from the American think tank Pew Research Center, millennials are the only generation more likely to own a laptop or netbook than a desktop computer. Seventy percent own a laptop or netbook, while 57 percent own a desktop computer. 

The new laptops launched by HP are the HP Pavilion Plus notebooks, HP Pavilion x360, HP 14, and HP 15. 

The new HP Pavilion Plus notebooks feature 13th Gen Intel Core processors, while the HP Pavilion x360 has a 360-degree adjustable hinge (hence the name), touch screen, and multiple ports. 

Meanwhile, the HP 14 and HP 15 come with an FHD camera, a QHD display, and a fingerprint reader, among many others. Here are more details about the features of these new laptops.

HP Pavilion Plus 14, HP Pavilion x360 

HP Pavilion Plus, HP 14, and the HP Pavilion x360 all come with a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with up to 400 nits of brightness. It also offers the EyeSafe certification. Plus, you can get support for its 360-degree adjustable hinge and stylus. 

The 13th Gen Intel i5-1335U processor powers these laptops, together with their Intel Iris Xe graphics. They also come with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

Not only those, but the laptops also feature a 5MP HP True Vision camera with Temporal Noise Reduction, and AI noise reduction. And if you want enhanced privacy, they also feature manual camera shutters. 

As for the battery, the Pavilion Plus 14 has a 51Wh battery, while the Pavilion x360 is backed by a 43Wh battery. Both laptops run with Windows 11 Home. 

HP 14, HP 15

The range of new laptops HP launched in India also includes the HP 14 and HP 15. Read on to find out more about their features.

Both HP 14 and HP 15 feature 14-inch and 15.6-inch LCD displays. The laptops are also equipped with up to 13th Gen Intel Core i5 chip. Plus, their RAM is at 8GB, and their SSD is at 512GB.

Moreover, HP 14 and HP 15 have support for a Full HD web camera with Temporal Noise Reduction, not to mention AI Noise Removal and a manual camera shutter. Running with Windows 11, these laptops have a 41Wh battery and Wi-Fi 6E support.

Pricing

The HP Pavilion Plus starts at around $998, while the HP Pavilion x360 begins at about $706. HP 14 starts at about $487. There is no word yet on the pricing of the HP 15.
