We’re just talking about the anime. Netflix, the world’s leading streaming platform, launched the anime’s live-action adaptation just last August 2023. Shortly after launch, the “One Piece” live action is catapulted to the number one spot in, get this, 46 countries with 18.5 million viewers in the first week alone! Indeed, the “One Piece” magic keeps shining through.

Every Arc To Be Covered In The Second Season

For those who have completed watching the “One Piece” live-action’s first season and are wondering if there will be a second season, hear ye, hear ye, there is. You can actually watch the official trailer for Season 2 here

Die-hard fans of “One Piece” may also be wondering – which arcs will be covered in the second season of the live-action series? Well, those who have insider facts about Season 2 say a total of six arcs will be covered. Here they are. For those watching for the first time, spoilers ahead.

1. Arabasta Arc

The Arabasta Arc is the 11th story arc of the “One Piece” manga and anime, and both the fifth and final story arc of the Arabasta Saga.

In this arc, the Straw Hats finally get to the Arabasta desert kingdom, launching their race across the kingdom to reach Alubarna, Alabasta’s capital city, before a massive war breaks out between the royal guards of the kingdom and its rebels. But, Mr. 0, the war’s true perpetrator, together with his remaining Baroque Works officer agents, stands in the way of the crew, preventing them from achieving their goal.

2. Drum Island Arc

Next is the Drum Island Arc. This arc is the 10th story arc of the manga and anime, as well as the fourth story arc of the Arabasta Saga.

Here, following Nami being inflicted with an unknown illness, the Straw Hat Pirates journey to Drum Island to look for a good doctor. The team then meets an odd talking reindeer, Tony Tony Chopper. Despite the anima’s peculiarities, he helps the pirates fend off the country’s former despot king, Wapol, after he comes back to reclaim his throne.

3. Little Garden Arc

The ninth story arc of the “One Piece” manga and anime, as well as the third story arc of the Arabasta Sage, the Little Garden Arc starts with the Straw Hat Pirates bringing with them Vivi as they travel to Little Garden, a prehistoric island. There, they meet with Brogy and Dorry, two Giants who have been in a duel with each other on the island for the past century. After the pirates make friends with the two giants, the crew finds itself ambushed by both new and familiar Baroque Works officers.

4. Whisky Peak Arc

Following is the Whiskey Peak Arc. This arc, the eighth story arc of the manga and anime, and the Arabasta Saga’s second story arc, has the Straw Hat Pirates heading to Whisky Peak, a town that’s very hospitable to pirates – even treating them like celebrities – with a Log Pose with them. However, it is revealed later in the story that the townspeople hide a dark secret, and an even deeper mystery awaits our heroes.

5. Reverse Mountain Arc

The fifth arc to be covered in Season 2 of the “One Piece” live action on Netflix is the Reverse Mountain Arc. This is the seventh story arc of the “One Piece” anime and manga, as well as the very first story arc of the Arabasta Saga.

Here, the Straw Hats make their way to Reverse Mountain and commence the perilous task of scaling the mountain’s intricate rapids so they can enter the Grand Line, an ocean route that wraps around the whole world. As they climb down this mountain, they come face to face with Laboon – a giant whale – and mysterious agents named Miss Wednesday and Mr. 9.

6. Loguetown Arc

The last arc to be featured in season two of the live-action is the Loguetown Arc. Here, our heroes stop at Loguetown city, the place where Gol D. Roger was born and executed (chills!). Here, they must obtain supplies before they finally head to the Grand Line. But, a mighty Marine captain and some old enemies stand in their way.

The Loguetown Arc is the sixth story arc of the anime and manga, and both the sixth and very last story of the East Blue Saga.

As you can see, the second season of the live-action is one arc less than those in the first season. But that doesn’t mean you should miss out on this.
