Fortnite is already filled with Marvel heroes and villains for fans and players to unlock as character skins. Wolverine, Thor, Iron Man are but just a few examples, and developer Epic Games looks like it wants to take full advantage of the deal with Marvel.
Today, Fortnitemares – the game’s yearly Halloween event – has been released which added a new mode, new cosmetics, and is preparing for the return of Midas from Season 2. However, this hasn’t taken away the focus from Marvel for the time being as the development team may already have a new Marvel superhero skin ready for release this month.
Reputable Fortnite data miner HYPEX has dug deep into the game’s files after the recent update was released and believes he might have uncovered two discoveries. The first is titled Back To The Shadows and is accomplished by beating Shadow Midas whose existence has already been made official by Epic Games.

However, it was the second discovery that caught his attention, as it specifically mentions Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance. The Hell on Wheels achievement is supposedly earned by driving any vehicle as Ghost Rider which means he will be introduced as a playable character skin in the near future.
Unlike other past leaks, there are no photos of the apparent Ghost Rider skin, but will certainly come with other accessories such as Back Bling and even a new superpower for fans to use such as Ghost Rider’s hellfire, his chain whip, or even his motorbike which is the most iconic feature of the Marvel character.
However, the leak didn’t reveal when the Ghost Rider skin will be available. The developers could be saving him as a reward for an upcoming tournament, just like Daredevil, before making it available to the general public. However, he would also be a perfect fit for the ongoing Halloween event too.
It is also possible that the upcoming skin for Ghost Rider might not feature the original Johnny Blaze. For the past few years, there have been others who took the role of Ghost Rider such as the teenager Robbie Reyes who drove a car instead of a bike.
Recently, even Deadpool became Ghost Rider, whose vehicle was a taco truck. While it would be nice to see another, less recognized character show in Fortnite, Johnny Blaze’s prestige as the best and original Ghost Rider means it will possibly be him.
Despite speculations, there have been no signs of Spider-Man coming to Fortnite. Datamine from last August even proposed that some of the hero’s villains would be coming to the game too. Even if this information is not correct, adding Spider-Man will definitely a great decision from Epic Games since he is Marvel’s most popular and iconic superhero to date.
